SOZOWのみんなで地球の未来を考えよう！地球を守るプロの特別講演オンラインイベントに出ました。

今は地球が温暖化しています。
どれぐらいかと言うと火事みたいに熱いです。

The earth is warming up now.
To give you an idea of how much, it's as hot as a fire.

人間たちはわざと火事を起こしています。
何故かと言うと、私たちが食べる牛肉や豆などを育てる土地を作っているからです。

Humans are causing fires on purpose.
This is because we are creating land to grow the beef and beans that we eat.

それでこうやって植物が燃えて火事になるのです。

それにカナダはとっても寒い国だったのでクーラーも必要なかったのですが突然の暑さがやってきて何十万人と言う人がなくなってしまいました。

That's how the plants burn and catch fire.

And Canada was a very cold country, so there was no need for air conditioning, but suddenly the heat came and hundreds of thousands of people were lost.

世界では子供の環境活動家が増えています。

ドイツには8歳の環境活動家がいて、デモを起こしています。

理由は知らない大人が多いからです。

The number of child environmental activists is increasing around the world.

In Germany, there is an 8 year old environmental activist who is holding a demonstration.

The reason is that there are many adults who don't know.

環境活動家の谷口たかひささんは「みんなが知れば必ず変わる」と言っています。
だからみんなも知ってください。

Mr. Takahisa Taniguchi, an environmental activist, says, "If everyone knows, things will surely change.
So please let everyone know.
